Govt taking steps to promote tourism in AJK: Tanveer Ilyas

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas says the government is pursuing a plan to promote tourism in AJK to create more job opportunities and boost trade activities.

He was addressing different functions during his visit to Jhelum valley.

He said the tourism potential of the state would be exploited by development of road and other tourism infrastructure.

The AJK Prime Minister inaugurated the tourism festival and said over 50 thousand tourists would come to Jhelum valley in the coming days.

He also attended the prize distribution ceremony of a local tournament and announced the construction of a sports stadium in Jhelum Valley.
