Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says government is taking concrete steps for the eradication of polio across the province.
Chairing a meeting in Peshawar today, he said strict action will be taken against those officers of health department who showed poor performance during polio campaign.
Mahmood Khan directed the concerned authorities to convince the parents to administer polio vaccine to their children.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on polio Babar Bin Atta informed the meeting the government has planned to start special social media campaign to create awareness among the general public about polio.
It was decided in the meeting that no FIR will be registered against those parents who refuse to administer anti-polio vaccine to their children.
