Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin says the government is committed to strengthen financial markets and to mobilize capital to more productive sectors.

He was talking to Managing Director Pakistan Stock Exchange Farrukh H. Khan to review proposals for Federal Budget 2021-22 in Islamabad today (Monday).

The minister said that the government is considering introducing new tax regime in accordance with the changing economic environment. He also assured to give due consideration to the proposals submitted by the MD PSX.
