Karachi: Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan on Friday paid a visit of Faizi Rahimeen Auditorium site and newly built Baradari Car Parking along with Administrator KMC Muhammad Hussain Syed. Municipal Commissioner KMC Matanat Ali Khan, Director General Technical Services Altaf G.Memon, EDO Transport Ateeq Baig, Senior Director Culture and Sports Muhammad Rehan Khan and other high officials were also present on this occasion.
On the visit of Faizi Rahimeen Auditorium he said this is the unique and biggest auditorium of Pakistan where cultural and educational activities will be held after completion of construction work. He said not only the ongoing development projects will be completed in Karachi in next two months but new projects will also be launched.
Administrator Karachi Muhammad Hussain Syed gave detailed briefing to Governor Sindh about the project of Faizi Rahimeen Auditorium and Baradari Car Parking. He said the project of Faizi Rahimeen Auditorium was being carried out with a cost of Rs530million which would include the construction of a centrally air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1800 people.
Governor of Sindh said these projects hold much importance not only for the city itself but for the whole country and therefore these should be completed as soon as possible. He said that financial condition of KMC has been made better and allocation of funds for these projects was also being reviewed.
