Government utilizing mean tactics to avert Musharraf arrival: Fawad Ch

Lahore: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Spokesman Fawad Ch said that the government has been employing mean tactics to hold back arrival of former President of Pakistan and APML Quaid Pervez Musharraf in the country.

Commenting on the statement of Interior Minister Rehman Malik that Pervez Musharraf would be arrested upon stepping on Pakistani soil, APML Spokesman Fawad Ch said APML Quaid Pervez Musharraf has fought heroic battles for Pakistan and a man like Musharraf who put on stake his life on many occasions for the country couldn’t be deter through mean tactics of detention.

Fawad Ch rubbishing aside Malik’s statement stated that PPP led ruling alliance should deviate from its mean tactics and added that Pervez Musharraf pursuing the slogan of APML ‘Pakistan First’ will arrive in Pakistan on Jan 29, 2012.

The entire world esteemed former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf with dignity and honour for being the identity of Pakistan and it would be untoward, if the incumbent government arrests Musharraf on his arrival in Pakistan that would further undermine the status of the PPP’s led ruling alliance at national as well as at international level, Fawad said.

APML Spokesman Fawad Ch further elucidated that incumbent PPP government has accorded ‘Guard of Honour’ to former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf on his retirement from the presidency and it was Pervez Musharraf who administered oath of the PPP’s led ruling alliance in 2008.

Interior Minister Rehman has made a foiled bid to please PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif through his statement, however, Malik should also acknowledge this fact that the masses have turned down the ‘political mafia’ of PPP and PML-N, APML Spokesman Fawad Ch said.
