Government of Pakistan is trying its best for the welfare of Afghan Refugees in Pakistan and more steps would be taken in this regard

Islamabad: Federal Minister for SAFRON Eng. Shaukatullah has said that the Government of Pakistan is trying its best for the welfare of Afghan Refugees in Pakistan and more steps would be taken in this regard, this was stated by the Federal Minister while visiting the Afghan Refugees Camp, Kot Chandna, District Mianwali today.

The Minister said that Ministry of SAFRON will assist in policy formulation for Afghan refugees and execution of the policy in Punjab.

The Minister ensured the Tribal notables for enhancement of the facilities in the activities pertaining to shelter, health services and free medicines, clean drinking water, security and others vocational training facilities in the Camp.

Earlier Mr. Ilyas Chaudhry Commissioner Afghan Refugees Punjab briefed the Federal Minister about the activities of Kot Chandna Afghan Refugees Camp. The Minister visited the different departments of the Camp.

Eng. Shaukatullah distributed the sewing machines among the orphans and poor women of the Camp. A traditional tribal “Pagri” is also presented to the Federal Minister.
