, April 23, 2014 (PPI-OT): “PML- N government is firm in its stand to provide better education facilities to the children of Pakistan and government is focusing more on increasing the budget of education upto 4% percent of GDP ratio” said by the Minister For Inter Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Husain Pirzada while addressing children at a function organized by Pakistan Children’s Academy Rawalpindi/Islamabad Branch, here on 23rd April, 2014 at Hamdard Hall, Murree Road, Rawalpindi.
On this occasion, federal Minister acknowledged the services of Ms. Saqib-ud-Uddin chairperson of Pakistan Children’s Academy Rawalpindi/Islamabad – in the field of education. Students of different schools exhibited their talent by contesting in debate and painting competitions.
On the felicitous occasion, Federal Minister added that such competitions are indispensable for grooming of children and by participating in such positive activities children will be able to use the best of their capabilities. Minister also distributed prizes among the winners of the competition.
He further said that unfortunately due to lack of access to educational institutions and opportunities, people stop sending their children to schools but when they are given a chance, they do wonders. So, present government is resolve to increase the literacy rate in the country and education can be used as a tool to solve the menacing problems faced by Pakistan.
