Gilani pays glowing tributes to martyred youth

Srinagar,
February 02, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties
Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has paid glowing tributes to the two
youth martyred by Indian troops in Pulwama district. The troops martyred the
youth, Shahid Ahmed Baba and Inayat Ahmed, during a cordon and search operation
in Drabgam area of the district, yesterday.

Syed Ali
Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Kashmiri youth were
forced to resist the Indian military and forcible occupation of their homeland.
He said Kashmir is a bone of contention between Pakistan and India and deplored
that the stubborn attitude of New Delhi regarding settlement of this globally
accepted political dispute and dealing with it only militarily has created
death and destruction in occupied territory and threatening even the idea of
peace and stability of the region.

The APHC
Chairman also denounced the threatening remarks of the Governor of occupied
Kashmir, Satya Pal Malik, against the Kashmiris. He said that hypocrisy and
arrogance touched new heights when a person, as administrative representative
of oppressive monster, posing as viceroy of Delhi, continued his venomous
utterances. He said it is surprising and ridiculous that a person “alien” on
this soil, hailing from a place thousands miles away – threatens the permanent
and legal residents of the territory, to flee from here. “This is outcome of
sick and biased mindset every oppressor genetically poses,” he added.

Meanwhile,
the Jammu and Kashmir Tanzeem-e-Azadi in a statement issued in Srinagar also
paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth. It said that the Kashmiri youth
were rendering their lives for a sacred cause and their sacrifices would not be
allowed to go waste.
