Full Court meeting held

Islamabad, July 09, 2014 (PPI-OT): A Full Court meeting was held today (09.07.2014) in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk and was attended by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Ather Saeed, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rahman, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mushir Alam, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Umar Ata Bandial. Syed Tahir Shahbaz, Registrar, Supreme Court of Pakistan also attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Hon’ble Judges congratulated the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk on assuming the highest judicial office. They reposed confidence in him and said that under his guidance the institution will flourish and process of administration of justice will further be improved. They assured him of their full cooperation in his efforts to advance the cause of the justice so that expeditious and speedy justice can be ensured.

The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan thanked the Hon’ble Judges and said that they will continue to work for the betterment of this institution and dispensation of justice to public at large. The Hon’ble Chief Justice appreciated the commitment and devotion of all the Hon’ble Judges for sitting in various Benches during the summer vacation. The meeting also discussed different administrative and judicial issues relating to the internal working of the Court.
