Four including two women killed, 34 injured in IHK mishaps

Srinagar, October 18, 2012 (PPI-OT): Four people were killed and 34 others injured in separate road mishaps in occupied Kashmir. Driver of a trawler died on the spot and two others were injured when the vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Chambal was in Ramban district while a boy and a girl were killed and another girl was injured when their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle on Jammu-Pathankote highway at Chichi Mata Temple in Samba district.

 

Twenty-five passengers were injured when a bus in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Assar in Doda district, police said.

 

Two youth were also injured when their motorcycle skidded off the road and fell down the hillock in Bagh-e-Bahu area of Jammu city, police added.

 

Meanwhile, one lady succumbed to her injuries at Soura hospital in Srinagar, and four other persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
