Forced load shedding for industrial feeders in Faisalabad Electric Supply Company region has been eliminated as generation situation is improving gradually, said Nadeem Aftab Sindhu Chairman Board of Directors

Faisalabad: Forced load shedding for industrial feeders in FESCO region has been eliminated as generation situation is improving gradually, said Nadeem Aftab Sindhu Chairman Board of Directors (BOD). In a statement issued here Wednesday, he said that FESCO was fully aware of the importance of energy and in this connection top priority is being given to the industrial and commercial consumers.

He said that national economy was directly linked with the industry and trade and both these sectors were also providing jobs to the unemployed youth. He said that electricity production is increasing after recent steps taken by the government at highest level.

He said that forced load shedding has been eliminated at industrial feeders while relief to the other consumers would be provided as soon as the additional supplied would made to FESCO. He made a humble appeal to the electricity consumers to keep their sentiments in control and avoid “Ghrao Jalao” and damaging FESCO and other public properties.

He said that people should know that any damage to the public properties would have to be ultimately born by them. He said that within the given circumstance FESCO administration was making best efforts to ensure fair and judicious distribution of available quota of energy.

The load management schedule has been designed in consultation with all stakeholders. In order to minimize the ill impacts of electricity shortage in the country, he said that wastage of energy was yet another problem and FESCO was already making consulted efforts to educate people to avoid wastage of energy.

This would not only serve the national purpose to ensure continues supply to the industrial sector but also bring a substantial decrease in the electricity bills. Similarly, FESCO was also extending facility of free energy audit to the local industry.

It would also cut down the production cost. He hoped that industrial, commercial and domestic consumers would help FESCO in ensuring judicious supplies to the all sectors in this period of acute shortage.
