FMs of Russia, Iran, Turkey to discuss Syria in March

Astana, (UNA-OIC) – The foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, and Turkey plan to meet next month to discuss the situation in Syria, Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said on Tuesday.

The sides have yet to fix the exact date and location, Abdrakhmanov told reporters, adding that the Kazakh capital, Astana, is one of the options for the location of the meeting.

He also noted that Astana will host a fresh round of lower-level talks over Syria between the same three parties.
