FM Malki briefs Czech officials on latest developments in Palestinian-Israeli conflict

Prague (IINA) Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki, who arrived in Prague on Sunday on a visit to the Czech Republic, briefed the officials in the central European nation on the latest political developments in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported that Malki’s talks with the Czech officials focused on the latest developments in the Middle East peace process and the invitation by US President Donald Trump to his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas to visit Washington to discuss reviving the political process with Israel.

Last Friday, President Trump extended an official invitation to President Abbas to visit the White House to discuss ways to resume the peace process, after the two leaders spoke by phone for the first time since Trump took office.
