First National Equities Limited’s extension in time for holding the AGM

Karachi: We are pleased to inform you that the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has granted to First National Equities Limited (FNEL) the 30 days extension in the time period for holding Annual General Meeting for the year ended June 30, 2011. The copy of extension letter received from the SECP is enclosed herewith for your information and record.

Application for Extension to the Period for holding of Annual General Meeting and Listing of Balance Sheet therein under Section 158 and 233 of the Companies Ordnance, 1984

Please refer to you in application dated September 29, 2011 requesting extension of 30 days for holding of Annual General Meeting (AGM) and laying of annual audited accounts for the year ended June 30, 2011 of First National Equities Limited (“The Company”).

In this connection, I am directed to inform you that the Commission has allowed extension period for holding of AGM and laying thereon the annual audited accounts of the Company for the year ended June 31, 2011 for a period of 30 days i.e. on to November 30, 2011, as per the provisions of Section 58 and 233 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984.
