Srinagar, March 20, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Firdous Ahmad Shah has greeted the government and the people of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day, falling on Saturday.
Firdous Ahmad Shah addressing his party meeting in Srinagar held under his chair, thanked the Pakistani nation for its unflinching diplomatic, moral and political support to their just cause of freedom.
The DPM Chairman said that friendly relations between Pakistan and India could not be established without resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per Kashmiris’ aspirations.
He said that Pakistan was a centre of hope for the oppressed Kashmiri people, who were grateful to the country for raising the dispute at all national and international forums.
Firdous Ahmad Shah expressed the hope that the new elected government in Pakistan would also continue its support to the people of Kashmir in their just struggle for securing right to self-determination.
