Fehmida Sofi shifted to hospital from Baramulla sub-jail

Srinagar, March 30, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained activist of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Fehmida Sofi, was shifted to Sadar Hospital in Srinagar after her condition deteriorated at Baramulla sub-jail. The Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi in a media interview in Srinagar said that the health of Fehmida Sofi, who had been detained for last 21 days, deteriorated due to unhygienic food and lack of medical facilities in the jail.

She said that on Friday night Fehmida Sofi was brought to Sadar Hospital in Srinagar. She said that the occupation authorities were threatening to slap draconian law Public Safety Act (PSA) on Fehmida, which was condemnable.
