Islamabad, July 03, 2013 (PPI-OT): Mir Naveed Jan Baloch, Acting President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has taken strong notice of the recent bomb blast at Hazara Town in Quetta which led to the loss of 30 innocent lives.
While appreciating the statement of the Prime Minister of Pakistan that zero tolerance would be shown for terrorism in Balochistan, which was made during the PM’s visit to Quetta, the Acting President of FPCCI said that the law and order situation in Balochistan must be improved in order to allow domestic and foreign investors to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available for investment in Balochistan.
He said that FPCCI had already submitted a detailed revival plan for the Balochistan economy to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, which focused on mining, livestock and fisheries, agriculture and regional trade. The recent developments regarding Gwadar and cooperation with China in this regard were very encouraging. However, to fully realize these opportunities, the law and order in the province situation must improve.
Mir Naveed Jan Baloch urged the Government to take strict action against the miscreants and ensure that no such acts be allowed in future.
