M. Muneer, President, India Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Former President of FPCCI; Mr. Shaheen Ilyas Sarwana, Mr. Gulzar Firoz, Mr. Azhar Saeed Butt, Mr. Abdul Khaliq Khan, Mr. Khawaja Muhammad Iqbal, Mr. Muhammad Ali, Mr. Muhammad Zafar Jalil Khan Mastikhel, Mr. Naveed Jan Baloch, Ms. Rukhsana Jahangir Khokhar, Vice Presidents of FPCCI have strongly condemned the dacoity at the residence of Shaikh Shakeel Ahmed Dhingra, Former Vice President of FPCCI.
The higher hierarchy of FPCCI said such incidences have revealed the insecurity of the life and property of the masses in general and the businessmen and their families in particular, for which FPCCI has been clamoring for a long time to improve the law and order situation in Karachi.
They said that such incidences have badly shaken the confidence of business community, a prerequisite for trade and industrial activities in the city. They added that if the deteriorating law and order situation is not arrested, the business community would be constrained to disinvest and shift their business activities in other cities of the country.
They demanded the Chief Minister of Sindh and the I.G Police Sindh to immediately arrest the culprits involved in the dacoity at the residence of Shaikh Shakeel Ahmed Dhingra, Former Vice President FPCCI.
