Karachi, April 28, 2016 (PPI-OT):Advisor Federal Ombudsman Muhammad Yameen has said that justice is started to provide to citizens at their own door steps on directives of Federal Ombudsman Salman Farooqui. He was expressing these thoughts at Deputy Commissioner Malir’s camp office while hearing the applications from citizens against K-Electric. He said that is why we have received hundreds of hundreds applications against over-billing of K-Electric.
PRO Federal Ombudsman’s Regional Office Behleem Builqees Jan and officers of K-Electric were present on this occasion. Advisor Federal Ombudsman Muhammad Yameen said that Federal Ombudsman is a valuable authority where there is not necessary to hire lawyers’ services, they fight their cases themselves. Applicant Asif Ahmed told Advisor Federal Ombudsman Muhammad Yameen that he works on Rs. 6500 per month while he also has four children, K-Electric sent him a wrong bill, therefore provide me justice.
Federal Ombudsman eradicated over bill and ordered to pay bill in instalments. Perusing the case of applicant Muhammad Fakhir Siddiqui, ordered him to contact local court. Taking action on same applications of Sher Ali, Muhammad Adil Kamal, Salim Ahmed, Muhammad Ashraf and Muhammad Ibrahim, complaints were addressed by eradicating over-billing upon which citizens showed their keen happiness and came back making prayers for Federal Ombudsman. Before this, K-Electric’s officers presented their reports to ombudsman court.
