Federal Minister Pir Syed Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi assures the stranded Pakistani workers about early resolution of their sufferings

Islamabad, August 16, 2016 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Pir Syed Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi, who is presently visiting Saudi Arabia, has assured the stranded Pakistani workers about early resolution of their sufferings. He said that the present government attaches high importance with Pakistani immigrants and all efforts will be made to overcome sufferings and problems being faced by Pakistani workers.

The Federal Minister expressed these views while addressing Pakistani workers at Takhassusi/Sang/Imam camp of Saudi Oger Company at Riyadh, Saudia Arabia. He said that the Prime Minster Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has categorically directed that every effort must be made for early resolution of the problems of Pakistanis workers presently living in various camps in Saudi Arabia. The Minister told the workers that “You are heart-beat of Pakistan”, while meeting with them at Riyadh.

The Federal Minister assured the workers hat he will take up their problems like provision of treatment facilities at camps, renewal of Iqma, transfer of iqmas and other matters with Saudi Labour and Health Ministers during his stay in Saudi Arabia as meetings with Saudi Ministers have already been scheduled on Tuesday the 16th Aug, 2016. He assured that the interests of Pakistani workers will be protected and their all legitimate dues will be paid to them. He said that he has directed the authorities concerned for extension of passports of Pakistani workers free of cost. He further said that all problems and issues will be resolved amicably. Managing Director, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, Habib Ur Rehman Gilani and Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudia Arabi, Manzoor ul Haq also accompanied the Federal Minister.

Presently, on the directives of the Prime Minster of Pakistan, the Federal Minister is on five days visit to Saudia Arabia to resolve the issues being faced by the Pakistani workers there.
