Islamabad: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar felicitated to all communities living in Pakistan on the eve of Christmas, new year and new Islamic year while addressing “International Peace Conference and Christmas Cake Cutting Ceremony” organized by Bright Future Society in National Press Club, Islamabad on 15th December, 2011.
Federal Minister gave a message of peace and inter-religious harmony to all the representatives in this ceremony. He emphasized on drafting new social contract to promote and strengthen inter-religious harmony, protection to all minorities living in Pakistan as citizens or otherwise to make this country a place as it was idealized by Quaid-e-Azam while addressing Constituent Assembly on 11th August, 1947.
He also desired for middle-class revolution in Pakistan and sought the active participation of all the minorities of Pakistan. Participants belonging to United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA) and other countries were present in this peace conference. Later on Christmas cake-cutting ceremony was held in a pleasant way in the presence of all the communities.
