Enrolment at Sindh universities has increased: Ebad

Karachi, November 26, 2012 (PPI-OT): There has been an increase in the enrolment in the universities in Sindh, said Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, who is also the Chancellor of the public sector universities in the province.

He was talking to the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Dr Javed Leghari, who called on him at the Governor House here on Friday.

The governor pointed out that in some of the universities in the province the enrolment has doubled. With this there is also an increase in the number of universities in the public sector in the province, he added.

Ebad pointed out that the country’s first law university is being established in the province of Sindh. He said that a university was also being set up in the city of Hyderabad.
