Karachi, October 18, 2017 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for education and literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that enrollment in schools is increasing gradually. Sindh government is spending a huge amount on education sector and it has brought good results. This he said while presiding over a meeting in his Sindh Assembly building office on Wednesday. Secretary Education Schools Iqbal Durrani, Chief Engineer Education Works Bachal Memon and other officers also attended the meeting.
He said that missing facilities in schools were being meted out on priority basis. In girls Schools the damaged roofs, wash rooms and boundary walls while in boys Schools the damaged roofs were being repaired and constructed. The minister for education and literacy Jam Mehtab directed the officers concerned to pay attention on quality work and development schemes proposed by MNAs and MPAs. He warned the officers to bring about positive change within in a month and those contractors who failed to perform their duties properly, would not be spared. In the meeting the officers briefed the minister education regarding progress on development schemes.
