Islamabad, March 25, 2014 (PPI-OT): Education and training play vital role to transform us into better human being. It is our constitutional and religious duty to impart quality education to our children. As better human are essential to build good nation on strong lines Minister of State for Education and Interior Eng. Muhammad Bligh-Ur-Rehman said this in Sir Syed Memorial Society while expressing the need of quality education and high values in young learners.
He further said that it is very unfortunate that in the comity of the nations Pakistan is considered educationally a backward country. The minister told the faculty members of the CASE that AEPAM is an institution working under ministry of education, training and standards in higher education is maintaining the DATABASE and imparting training. He further said the capabilities of the institution are not fully utilized.
While talking about the national curriculum commission the minister told the audience what were the hurdles and how was he able to convince the provincial Education Ministers to agree on the minimum standards in curricula, as education system totally divergent to each other might have created many problems for students at university level. In the end the minister thanked the faculty and appreciated their efforts to disseminate knowledge and training.
