Karachi, October 05, 2017 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that drop out of the students specially of the girls students is a matter of concerns and it must be arrested at any cost and Education Department only can not put the things on right track, for the purpose all stakeholders have to work on the same page with great enthusiasm.
This he said while presiding over 10th Board of Governors meeting of Sindh Teacher Development Authority (STEDA) here on Thursday in a local hotel. Secretary Schools Aziz Uqaili, Director STEDA Abdul Majeed Bhurt, Chairman STBB, Chairman BISE and other officers also attended the meeting. He said that a certain standard had to be fixed for recruitment of the teachers and the other non teaching staff as well to enhance quality education.
He suggested that there were multiple solutions of the problems, we must ponder over the solutions. He assured, ‘ No compromise will be made on quality education and quality training of the teachers and we have to strengthen the institutions and if it is needed we will hire market based staff to run the institutions. He further said that only result oriented people would survive in the department and as per policy of Education Department the institutions would be upgraded and professionalism would be promoted in Education Department.
