Djibouti (IINA) � Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh arrived in Paris on Monday at the start of an official three-day visit to France, at the invitation of his French counterpart Francois Hollande.
According to News Agency of Djibouti, Guelleh will hold key talks with Hollande focused on bilateral relations and joint cooperation between Djibouti and France, especially in the economic field. The talks between the two sides will also address the situation in the Horn of Africa region, particularly in Somalia, in addition to the ongoing war in Yemen and its repercussions on Djibouti.
President Guelleh is also scheduled to meet with French businessmen to brief them on investment opportunities in Djibouti, as well as the facilities provided by the government for foreign businessmen and investors.
It is noteworthy that the Djiboutian president will, in turn, extend a formal invitation to President Hollande to visit Djibouti in the near future.
