Islamabad: A number of dignitaries, ambassadors, diplomats, EU and NATO officials visited the Pakistan Embassy in Brussels to express their condolences by recording their remarks, on behalf of their Governments and the people of their respective countries, on demise of former First Lady and mother of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Late Begum Nusrat Bhutto, says a press release received from Brussels here today.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels, Belgium, placed the condolence book for recording the condolences by public and diplomats, on the sad demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto. The diplomats from Morocco, Russia, India, Suriname,
Singapore, Laos, Croatia, Bangladesh, Yemen, Malaysia, Bhutan, Nepal and from other countries visited the Pakistan Embassy for condolence and recorded their remarks in the condolence book. The flag of Pakistan Embassy is half mast due to the death of Begum Nusrat Bhutto.
In their remarks, the diplomats described Ms. Nusrat Bhutto as a great leader terming her sad demise as a great loss for the family and the people of Pakistan. They lauded her bravery and immense struggle and services for the cause of democracy and the democratic values in Pakistan. They termed her a source of inspiration for the people of Pakistan for their struggle to have democracy in the country.
