Srinagar, April 20, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Milat (DeM) Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi, has condemned the arrest of youth and suspension of government employees in Handwara saying it manifests the worth of Kashmiri blood and lives in the eyes of subjugators. Aasiya Andrabi in her statement issued in Srinagar said, “On one hand a young girl was molested, and on the other hand those who raise voice against it were fired upon.”
“Four young boys and an aged woman were killed, dozens were injured critically and instead of taking actions against the perpetrators of these murders, so-called administration chose to arrest our youth and suspend employees adding insult to injury,” she said.
“Normal course of justice would have been that the army men who fired upon the people were booked and arrested but the concerned DC says that we are not sure who fired on the day of the killing. This proves the worth of Kashmiri blood and lives in the eyes of subjugators. If we still hold any soft corner for these people then it is our bad luck,” she deplored.
