Islamabad: “The dispensation of justice is a difficult and intricate task, the bench and bar should work hard to provide justice to litigants at their door-steps”, said the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry while addressing a delegation of Abbottabad High Court Bar Association headed by its President Malik Manzoor Ahmed and comprising on Presidents of Mansehra and Haripur Bar Associations and other members of the bars who called on his lordship here in Supreme Court Building, Islamabad today i.e. 10.01.2012.
“The vision of independent judiciary can only be materialized with the help and sincere efforts of Bar so it is a responsibility of Bar to assist the Bench in dispensation of justice”, added the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
The delegation assured of full support and cooperation in process of dispensation of expeditious and inexpensive justice and extolled the role of Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry for the steps taken to provide justice to litigants at door-steps.
The delegation further praised his lordship’s struggle for rule of law, supremacy of Constitution and independence of judiciary. Moreover, they appraised his lordship regarding the hardships faced by them like construction of judicial complex at Abbottabad and bar room at Oogy. The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan assured them to take up the matter with the concerned quarter.
The delegation invited the Chief Justice of Pakistan to visit the Abbottabad High Court Bar, his lordship conveyed his gratitude, extended his thanks and assured to visit them in suitable time.
