Deal signed to designate Shah Faisal Afridi, President Pak China Joint Chamber of Commerce as Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan-Yantai Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Lahore, April 28, 2014 (PPI-OT): Mr. Cheng Xiaoyun President, Pakistan-Yantai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Pakistan and President Yantai Chamber in China signed an MOU to designate Mr. Shah Faisal Afridi, President Pak China Joint Chamber of Commerce as Patron-in-Chief of the newly established Pakistan-Yantai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A number of senior Chinese diplomats and entrepreneurs participated in the MOU ceremony.

President Yantai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Cheng Xiaoyun appreciated the role of Mr. Shah Faisal Afridi in promoting bilateral business relations between China and Pakistan as the President and founder of Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PJCCI) as the President and founder of Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PJCCI),

He said, “Shah Faisal Afridi is the Master voice of China in Pakistan” and Chinese business community feels an equal confidence in his leadership. He hoped that Pakistan Yantai Chamber of Commerce will be able to serve as a model chamber and a platform in Pakistan for promoting mutual investment and strengthening Pak-China friendship under patronage of Mr. Afridi.

Mr. Shah Faisal Afridi, while addressing the MOU signing ceremony, said that Chinese investment in Pakistan was helping attract international investors’ attention towards Pakistan. In such an encouraging environment created with support from China, Pakistan’s government and business class should promote regional and global trade, he added and urged the Government of Pakistan to provide the fullest cooperation of all business related government organizations for the Chinese investors coming into Pakistan.

Meanwhhile, he emphasized upon the local manufacturers and exporters to utilize Chinese cooperation in introducing their products in newly rising international markets to enhance Pakistan’s exports.
