Karachi, December 10, 2012 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah today had a meeting with a six member delegation of CZECH Republic led by Chairman NOEL Mr. VLADIMIR JAROS, at Chief Minister House.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Martin Benes, Mr. Ales Sadilek, Mr. Vlastimil Macuraic, Mr. Iqbal Farzand of NOEL Corporation, Minister Finance Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chairman Board of Investment Mr. Zubair Motiwala, Secretary Coal Mr. Aijaz Ali Khan and others.
Chief Minister Sindh welcomed the visit of CZECH Republic NOEL Corporation and proposed investment with regard to establishment of Coal Power Plant Badin. He appreciated the presentation of Chairman NOEL Corporation and termed it very impressive.
He assured the delegation that Sindh Government will provide all incentives and facilities to intending investors. He appreciated that NOEL corporation will install power plant with power generation capacity of 200 to 400 MW.
On the occasion, Chairman NOEL Corporation Mr. VLADIMIR JAROS in a presentation informed that NOEN Corporation is engaged in open cast mining with bucket – wheel mining, long – distance bell conveyors; spreaders and other machines, while they possess power plants with coal handling systems, lime stone and gypsum systems, stackers, reclaimers, technological belt conveyors, and material handling equipment.
Besides, the Corporation caters advisory services, with technological units, construction, Mechanical Engineering, transport and infrastructures, lighting, ICT services of telecommunication technologies, radio technologies, net working, relaying and connections of communication wiring, customer services, hosting, OSS solutions etc.
He further informed that NOEL holding caters transmission and distribution systems upto 400 kv; power plant with power out let and optimization and installation of power equipments. Mr. VLADIMIR also gave details about electrical engineering, Air Pollution Control, SEA Inc. Highlighting experience on mining and power plant focus, he briefed the meting about long distance conveyors, power plant ledice, bulk/coal handling and cleaning system etc.
The CZECH will visit coal areas of Badin, Thar and Thatta tomorrow and will assess the scope of investment, while the Government of Sindh will fully cooperate the intending investors.
