President Dr Arif Alvi has said the country needs unity and solidarity against the enemies of the country and people who want to destabilize the country will definitely fail.
Talking to the Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar who called on the President in Lahore today (Monday), Dr Arif Alvi said the strength and prosperity of Pakistan is the top priority of the government.
They discussed the matters of mutual interest in the meeting and the President appreciated Scholarship Program by the Government of Punjab for students of Balochistan, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.
On his part, the Governor said the opposition’s statement of anarchy and corruption was rejected by people in Gilgit Baltistan.
He said that twenty-two million Pakistanis stand with the government and opponents should accept Gilgit election results wholeheartedly.
