Srinagar, June 16, 2013 (PPI-OT): Senior Indian journalist and social activist, Seema Mustafa has strongly denounced the continued house arrest of the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, by the occupation authorities. Seema Mustafa in a media interview in Srinagar said that the authorities seemed to be helpless before Syed Ali Gilani and they had got a unique way of confining him to his residence.
She said that the authorities had got bankrupt and had no strategy to deal with the octogenarian leader. “I fail to understand how Gilani is threat to peace. In democracy one has the right to propagate his ideas,” she added.
“When one fails to curb the popularity of his opponent, he goes to any extent and same is the case with the veteran leader,” she added.
