Islamabad, August 19, 2013 (PPI-OT): Acting Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Tariq Wazir called on the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police Maj. Gen. Humaid Mohammad Al Hudaidi today and discussed matters concerning with the expatriate Pakistanis. He sought cooperation of the Commander-in-Chief to ensure welfare of the Pakistani community which considers UAE as their second home, says a press release received from Dubai here today.
Maj. Gen. Humaid Mohammad Al Hudaidi viewed that expatriate Pakistanis were an asset for Sharjah as well as for rest of the UAE. He observed that Pakistanis are the most law abiding expatriate community in Sharjah. Sharjah Police Chief extended his full cooperation for Consulate’s endeavours for betterment of the Pakistani Expatriate Community.
Mr. Tariq Wazir thanked the administration of Sharjah for its support in the welfare of Pakistani community. He said that Pakistanis are by nature law abiding people and observes rules and regulations by and large.
The Consul General said that Pakistan values it close historical and religious bond with UAE. He observed that the people and government of Pakistan consider UAE progress as their own, therefore, the Expatriate Pakistani community in UAE participate whole-heartedly in all development activities. He appreciated the UAE government for taking good care of the community.
