Karachi, May 12, 2016 (PPI-OT):Malaysian Council General, Ismail Muhammad Bkri along with a delegation of officials and investors visited on Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) here on Thursday. Trade Councillor, Mazlan Harun, Director Malaysian Tourism Promotion, Muhammad Talib Ibrahim and others were members of the delegation.
Director Administration SBI, Abrar Ahmed Sheikh and Director Special Project SBI, Abdul Azeem Uqaili briefed the Malaysian delegation about potential investment projects. They told that the Sindh government has established three special economic zones at Khairpur, Bin Qasim and Korangi.
They said investment opportunities are also available in Sindh in the energy and agriculture sectors as well as in tourism and Halal Meat certification. They said the projects like Gorakh hill station and Keenjhar Lake. Thatta can also be utilized by investors under public private partnership.
The members of the delegation obtained complete details of investments opportunities from the SBI officials and observed that the Sindh province is attractive for investors and the trade relations between Pakistan and Malaysia will further be strengthened.
