Conspiracies being hatched to weaken Kashmiris: Aasiya

Srinagar, December 21, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi has said that conspiracies are being hatched to weaken Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir economically and culturally. Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Urdu language was the cultural identity of the Muslims which was being targeted. “People are being treated like second class citizens. Our resources are being looted and made dependent for even morsels of food,” she deplored.

She said that Muslims of the entire region should stand up to defend Urdu language as it was the repository of the Muslim history. She said that Muslims should raise a collective voice against the conspiracies being hatched by the RSS.

Aasiya Andrabi said: “People who promised roads, power and water to the masses have failed to provide basic amenities. This proves that elections which are held in Kashmir are a farce aimed at hoodwinking the world opinion,” she maintained.
