Islamabad, May 20, 2014 (PPI-OT): Federal Public Service Commission has announced for general information the number of vacancies, including carried over vacancies, to be filled on the basis of final result of the competitive examination CSS 2013 in accordance with Government policy on merit, provincial, regional, women and minorities quota as follows.
There are total 266 vacancies .Out of which 203 are reserved for open merit,36 seats for women and 27 have been reserved for minorities.50% seats have been reserved for Punjab out of that 100 seats for open merit;11 for women and 14 seats have been reserved for minorities.
There are 22 seats for open merit; 8 for women and 2 for minorities in Sindh rural .For Sindh urban 18 seats are reserved for open merit, 6 for women and 3 for minorities .In KPK 24 seats are reserved for open merit, 3 for women and 4 for minorities.
In Balochistan 11 are reserved for open merit, 5 for women and 3 for minorities. In GBFATA 8 for open merit, 2 for women and 1 for minorities whereas in AJK 4 seats for open merit and one seat for women have been reserved.
Above distribution of vacancies have been made keeping in view previous balance share of the last year’s allocated seats of Competitive Examination and carried over vacancies have been added in the respective Occupational Groups/Services of concerned Provinces/Regions, Women and Minorities quotas.
Allocation of candidates to the Occupational Groups/Services, will be made keeping in view the suitability or unsuitability of the candidates as determined by the Commission, the merit position, preference of the candidates and the quota of Merit, Provinces/Regions/Women/ Minorities as set out in the Rules for Competitive Examination-2013.
The Government, however, reserves the right to fill a smaller or a larger number of vacancies than those indicated above. Details can be seen by visiting FPSC website: www.fpsc.gov.pk.
