Chief Minister calls on governor: Coalition parties vow to continue efforts for progress

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan.

At the meeting held at the Governor House here on Sunday, they discussed the prevailing situation, law and order, development works and ties between coalition partners.

It was decided that the coalition parties would continue their joint efforts for the progress and development of the province and for the betterment and welfare of the people.

The meeting also decided to further strengthen the contacts between the coalition partners.

Reviewing the law and order situation, it was decided that steps would be taken without any distinction or pressure for the protection of lives and property of the people.

In this regard, the law enforcement agencies were directed to remain alert, strengthen the intelligence network besides enhancing contacts with the people and take them into confidence.

The meeting also decided that the development projects would be completed according to schedule and there would be strict monitoring for maintaining their standard.
