Islamabad, January 18, 2017 (PPI-OT):Mr. Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Chairman NAB visited the under construction site of the office building for NAB Headquarter at Sector G-5/1 Islamabad to review the physical progress and inspect the quality of work. During the briefing, it was appraised by Chief Engineer (N), Pak PWD that the pace of work has been increased in the light of the directions of Chairman NAB after his last visit.
The fixing of granite, exterior glass and floor tiles are under progress. The pace of work on external development along with internal finishes like false ceiling, PVC panelling etc. has also been increased. The machinery including Generators, Lifts and HVAC System has been arranged and is in transit that shall shortly be reaching at site.
The Chairman NAB expressed his concern over the delay in the completion of the project and emphasize on making all out efforts for its early completion. He further observed that the pace of work was as far as less than the required to meet the timelines. The Chairman NAB, Mr. Qamar Zaman Chaudhry directed DG, PWD, Consultants and Contractor to complete the remaining work without further delay and ensure all quality standards in accordance with rules. He stressed that there should be no compromise on the quality of material and execution of work.
