Karachi, August 11, 2016 (PPI-OT):Chairman Enquiries and Anti- Corruption Establishment Ghulam Qadir Thebo said that no one is above the law and strain strict action must be taken against all corrupt officers/ officials. This he said while presiding over a meeting of Enquiries and Anti-corruption Establishment on Thursday at his office.
The chairman ACE during the meeting also given go-head to the officers to arrest corrupt officers/ officials involved in high profile corruption cases and challan them, according to law. The meeting was briefed on recent raids and activities of Anti-Corruption Establishment in the province of Sindh.
The meeting was informed that 94 cases have been identified along with solid evidence at Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK). These candidates have either been passed or given ‘A’ and ‘A-1’ grades after manipulating their results. A FIR in this regard has also been lodged and one employee namely Adil, working on daily wages has been arrested.
The Chairman appreciated the officers for conducting successful intelligence based raids at KMC and Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) offices. “Sindh Anti-Corruption department is committed to eliminate corruption from every government department” Said the Chairman Anti-Corruption Establishment. He further directed the officers to mobilize masses for their help in anti-corruption drive being carried out against corrupt elements in the province.
