Call on by Joint Delegation of BMC Students, Employees and Doctors

Quetta, September 10, 2020 (PPI-OT): During a meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan, a joint delegation of students, employees and doctors involved in the BMC rehabilitation movement expressed satisfaction over the government’s steps to address the problems and announced an end to the hunger strike. Provincial Ministers Mir Asad Baloch, Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Parliamentary Secretary for Health Dr. Rababa Baledi, BAP leader Sardar Noor Mohammad Bangalzai, Health Secretary Dosteen Jamaldini and Finance Secretary Noorul Haq Baloch were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that the amendment bill of Bolan University of Medical Sciences will be presented in the cabinet meeting on September 9, we are fulfilling the promise made to the students to bring these issues under consideration in the cabinet.

A meeting of the Senate of the University has also been held presided over by the governor in which a number of important decisions have been taken which will allay the concerns of BMC students, employees and doctors, while the University Amendment Bill will Rectified ambiguities in the act, the Chief Minister said The government will address the issue on a permanent basis through an amendment bill, whether there is a sit-in or strike under the BMC rehabilitation movement, he said, adding that a notification is being issued to the college employees to be re-employed under the college. It was decided that the representatives of BMC Rehabilitation Movement would hold a meeting with the Secretary Health and Secretary Finance to present their suggestions regarding the amendment bill.
