Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has directed authorities concerned to begin an effective campaign against dengue virus in the province.

In a statement in Lahore today (Wednesday), he said Health Department and District Administration should take all necessary steps for anti-dengue while it is the responsibility of the concerned departments to ensure implementation of the formulated plan.

He said anti dengue performance will be monitored on a daily basis and negligence will not be tolerated in the implementation of the plan for dealing with dengue.
