Lahore, December 12, 2012 (PPI-OT): Haji Habib-ur-Rahman, Inspector General Police Punjab visit Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Wednesday and said that Business Community is country’s back-bone and their protection is basic need to attract foreign investments and we are doing our best for this object. Punjab is safer as compare to other provinces because Police Department is doing well.
He added that he wants a crime free Punjab and he will go ahead for this purpose. Punjab is better in Law and order situation because most efficient Police Officers are serving in Punjab and they believe to serve the nation. Kidnapping for ransom cases were on peak at the time then he got charge of IG but now we are happy that these are in control at Punjab level.
Sheikh Abdul Waheed Sandal, Regional Chairman FPCCI, Mr. Azhar Majeed Sheikh Vice President FPCCI appreciate Haji Habib-ur-Rehman, Inspector General Police Punjab in their joint statement for his best performance to control crime in Punjab.
They said peace is first requirement for foreign investment. They thanked Mr. Hbib-ur-Rehman for the appointment of Khawaja Kahawar Rashid as Chairman of Peace Committee Capital City Police (PCCCP) Lahore. They hoped that this committee will prove a best forum to enhance interaction between Police and Business Community and will be helpful to control the crime rate in the City.
Mr. Aslam Tareen, CCPO Lahore and Khawaja Khawar Rashid also addressed the meeting on the occasion. Mr. Khawar announced that FPCCI is managing a blood and eye screening camp at Police Line.
Mr. Khawar also appreciated IG Police Punjab for his best performance to maintain peace in the province.
Mr.Aslam Tareen CCPO Lahore appreciated FPCCI for blood and eye screening camp for police and said that activities like this will boost up the Police Moral. FPCCI presented souvenir to distinguished guests on this occasion.
