Black law PSA slapped on JKML activist in IHK

Srinagar, April 02, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have slapped draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA) on Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League activist, Sajad Ahmad Nawoo.

The District administration Bandipore cited one of the grounds of detention for slapping PSA on the 23-year-old Sajad Ahmad Nawoo of Tangpora Naidkhai that he was a member of Majlis-e-Mashawarat.

The administration charged that Sajad Ahmad Nawoo had defied curfew several times and led processions in 2008 and 2010 unrest in Kashmir. Meanwhile, protests demonstrations continued in Shopian district against the arrest of youth by police.
