Beerwah shuts on 2nd martyrdom anniversary of 4 civilians

Srinagar, August 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Beerwah area of Budgam district, today, to mark the martyrdom anniversary of four civilians. According to Kashmir Media Service, the civilians, Muhammad Ashraf Wani, Manzoor Ahmed Lone, Javaid Ahmed Najam and Javaid Ahmed Sheikh, were killed when Indian troops had opened fire on peaceful protesters in the area two years ago. An eyewitness said that all shops and business establishments remained closed in the area while transport was off the road.
