Ban on JKLF latest example of India on Rampage in IOK: Rehmani

Islamabad, March 25, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League Chairman, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has said that Indian regime with its horrific measures and black laws is on rampage of Jammu and Kashmir and its latest example is ban on the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad denounced the ban on JKLF in strongest terms, saying that the conditions in the region had gone from bad to worse. He said crackdowns and search operations and killings of innocent youth was systematically decimating the inhabitants to demographically change the Muslim majority State into a Hindu region.

Under such intensification and enormities of sponsored terrorism, he urged upon the international community to understand their responsibilities to take required measures against India’s brutalities and undemocratic steps in Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Shabbir Ahmed Zargar in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the ban on Jammat-e-Islami and JKLF reflection of same colonial mind-set of rulers in New Delhi which it has been employing in Jammu and Kashmir for last more than seven decades to continue and strengthen its illogical and immoral occupation here.

He said for the purpose New Delhi has unleashed a full scale war on multidimensional fronts against brave people of Kashmir and has turned the whole Kashmir into an open killing field and a huge prison to crush and kill the sentiment of freedom with full might and resources at its disposal. He said history bears testimony to this bitter truth that freedom movements could not be crushed by using military might and brutal policies.
