Back injury rules Sohail Khan out of Bangladesh series; Junaid Khan named replacement

Lahore, April 12, 2015 (PPI-OT): Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Khan suffered a back injury at the training camp, precisely reporting pain during the practice match he featured in on April 11 2015, and on post MRI scan he was advised recuperation for 2-3 weeks under supervision of Dr. Sohail Saleem, head of PCB’s Sports Medicine department.

After consulting fellow selectors and having sought Chairman PCB, Shaharyar Mohammad Khan’s approval, Pakistan chief selector Haroon Rashid named Junaid Khan as Sohail’s replacement for the ODI squad. Making a comeback, Junaid was already part of the Test squad for the Bangladesh series.
