Srinagar, April 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the forum patronized by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that India and its puppet regime led by the National Conference in the territory are jointly trampling humanity by slapping draconian Public Safety Act on the Kashmiri youth.
A spokesman for the forum in a statement in Srinagar denouncing the brutalities said, “Police have declared a war on Kashmiri youth.”“Booking minors under PSA means trampling humanity… and unleashing a reign of terror on the Kashmiri youth,” he added.
The spokesman said police have slapped PSA on Mir Hafizullah of Islamabad, Zubair Ahmed Turray and Shakir Ahmed of Shopian on fake charges of stone-pelting.
“Now two more minors, Adil Ashraf, 16, of Peth Seer Sopore and Asif Majeed of Hazratbal have been booked under the PSA which is condemnable,” the spokesman deplored.
Meanwhile, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has strongly condemned the police action against the minors saying, “No justice can be expected from those who have made up their mind to punish the youth and put their career at stake.”
He said that the authorities were following the policy of crushing the Hurriyet leadership through the might of power and military.”
Syed Ali Gilani also condemned the authorities for slapping draconian PSA on APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and shifting him to Kotbhalwal jail in Jammu. “We also condemn implicating Muslim League leader, Mushtaq-ul-Islam in a fake case and slapping PSA on him,” he said.
