Srinagar, February 02, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that killings, crackdowns, arrests, and other repressive measures cannot prevent the Kashmiri people from continuing their just struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination. Service, the APHC spokesman in a statement in Srinagar denounced in strong terms the arrest of innocent youth by Indian police in downtown area of Srinagar during nocturnal raids for taking part in demonstrations against the Indian Army’s action of exonerating its personnel involved in the infamous Pathribal fake encounter.
He said that Indian army personnel were killing the innocent civilians in fake encounters to justify the invoking of draconian laws in the occupied territory. He deplored that the people were being victimized for raising their voice against such heinous war crimes perpetrated by the occupation forces. The spokesman said that repressive measures could not subdue the Kashmiris’ liberation sentiment.
