Srinagar, October 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah giving the deadline of October 10 for an action against the Central Reserve Police Force personnel involved in the killing of five innocent civilians in Shopian has announced to hold a sit-in protest in the town.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed grief and anguish over the arrests and harassment of youth at Zalangam in Kokernag, who were protesting against the abduction of a woman by the men in uniform in the area.
Expressing serious resentment over use of force by police on peaceful protestors, Shabbir Shah said that today’s protest was against the terrorism unleashed by Indian armed forces.
He said the woman was the mother of three children and her last child was just a few days old and was not fully recovered the post-birth complications when she was abducted.
Meanwhile, Peoples Freedom League chief Organizer, Muhammad Altaf Khan led a delegation to Zalangam and expressed solidarity with the family of victim woman.
On the other hand, another delegation of the party headed by General Secretary Ghulam Ahmad Parray went to Hajin in Baramulla and expressed solidarity with the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami occupied Kashmir, Ghulam Hassan Wani over death of his father.
